We start the new year with an #IDEoPOP workshop on #populism and security by our PI, @fabrizio-coticchia.bsky.social. We received very interesting insights into Fabrizio's research results, particularly on the case of Italy. Thank you for the lecture!
So nice to see that our early piece (with Johannes Plagemann @giga-hamburg.de) on #populism and #foreignpolicy remains among the 5 most read and 5 most cited articles in Foreign Policy Analysis! @fpajrnl.bsky.social @ideopop.bsky.social @pwunifreiburg.bsky.social
Very relevant read for our #IDEoPOP network on the relationship between populism and regionalism. In this article, @dwajner.bsky.social explores how populists engage in regional cooperation. It was very interesting to read it!
Today we attended a lecture by #IDEoPOP PI Christian Lequesne on the political capture of foreign policy bureaucracies by populists. The lecture offered a very interesting empirical approach discussing different cases such as Poland or Brazil.
